Schelle
Bell knowledge · Bells & range
Schelle is a common German-language term for livestock bells. The shape it refers to depends on the region and type of bell.
A name with regional differences
Terms such as Schelle, Treichel, Bissen and Flachschelle can overlap in everyday use. The word “Schelle” alone therefore does not reliably indicate the material, size or production method.
If you want to complement or replace an existing model, photographs, its model name and dimensions help us identify the required shape.

Compare the specific model
The online shop lists available models under their respective names. To choose a suitable strap, also consider the width and shape of the hanging loop.
Find the right Treichel in the shop.
Hand-forged and machine-made Treicheln are available in the shop. Berger bronze bells are available on enquiry or at our factory shop in Bärau.
