Lead

Lead is a chemical element with the element symbol Pb (Latin plumbum) and atomic number 82. It is a toxic heavy metal. Lead is easily malleable and has a low melting point of 327°C. Lead is abundant in the earth’s crust compared to other heavy elements (like mercury, gold).
