Living tradition
Bronze cowbells combine Swiss tradition with more than 285 years of experience from the Bell Foundry Berger. The hand-made sand mold is destroyed every time the new cowbell is born, whether it's bell no. 5 or No. 36, the expert speaks of the lost form. You get a piece of living history that exists only once in the world. No matter which unique item you choose, you will always make the right choice and stand out from ordinary gifts.

First class materials
The alloy of the bells consists of about 80% copper and 20% tin. The exact recipe from grandfather's time is a well-kept family secret, which is known only to the family members of the studio and has been told only orally for many generations.
The bell clapper is set exactly on the impact ring and consists of a softer alloy than the bell bronze to ensure a long life of the bell.

Why cowbells?
Bronze cowbells have been used in agriculture for many years for the protection of the herd. If something is wrong with the animals or if a predator approaches the herd, the farmer, shepherd or alpineer hears this from the sound of the bells and can react accordingly quickly. Also, the responsible person finds the animals reliably even in the thickest fog, if all technical aids already fail.
A peal usually consists of different tuned bells with different sounds. Thus, every peal is unique.

Did you know?
Bells mean protection and keep evil spirits away from the house, yard and loved ones. In addition, anyone who hears the sound of a bell has luck.
Cannons were cast for war purposes, while bells were cast during peacetime. That's why a beautiful bell and the accompanying sound are also a sign of peace and security.
